About Us

***  NEWS *** We are working on a new website which will be in operation soon.   Our new address will be:   www.WhenIWasInNeed.org.   It will not be case sensitive.  Using the original site at www.sheboygancountychaplaincy.org will still get you connected to the new site until further notice.

If you haven't seen the Chaplaincy DVD at your church or you don't know exactly what this ministry is all about, Pastor Tom would be very happy to  come,  visit and talk with you.  Every LC/MS congregation in the So. Wis. District will receive their own copy of the 18 minute DVD  for their library.  This will explain the need for a Chaplain or Deaconess to be present in the Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Centers.  Contact Pastor Tom on our "Contact" page and he will arrange to come to your church or group meeting personally.

We trust God will provide needed funds, using people like you, to help so residents can continue to hear His Word.  Please pray that God's Will be done and financial supporters will give generously.  Our residents need to hear of Jesus and His saving Grace as well as all of those who can attend their own churches.  Pastor Tom brings God to them on a regular basis, but cannot continue without your support.   This local mission is not funded by any Nursing Home, Assisted Living Center, or by the LC/MS Distric office or Synod.   We truly are grateful for the many supporters who have joined the "1,000/100 Campaign" we started this past Christmas season!  The journey to have 1,000 people-churches-groups  donate just $100 for the year continues to climb to the goal.   Join the campaign and check out our "Donate" page to be a Chaplaincy supporter today!  Thank you!

Another way to assist this ministry is to be  a "Chaplain Ambassador".  This person from each area congregation would be a liason with the goal of strengthening communication between the churches and the Chaplaincy Board of Directors.  Ambassadors would be responsible for sharing news by use of bulletin boards, newsletter articles, Sunday bulletins, etc. and by regular open communication with their Pastor, Church Council, and Congregational Boards.   We would encourage the return communication from each congregation to go through their  "Ambassador".  If you would like to keep the lines of communication open with your congregation about what the Chaplaincy Ministry is doing, please send your contact information to us via our website 'Contact' page or mail to:  Chaplaincy Ministry, P.O. Box 351, Plymouth, WI  53073 or call Rev. Fleischmann at 920- 892-2211  or email him at Brotherskeeper99@yahoo.com.
